Finding a dog-friendly bar in Crows Nest shouldn’t be difficult.
Yet somehow, some venues still act like your four-legged mate is about to start a bar fight, steal the taps, and run off with the cash register.
At Plan B, we take a different approach.
If you’ve got a well-behaved dog, bring them along.
In fact, some of our regular canine visitors have become local celebrities. They know exactly where the water bowls are, they’ve mastered the art of looking innocent while staring at your burger, and they’ve developed an impressive ability to convince strangers they’re starving despite being fed approximately 14 minutes ago.
We respect that level of commitment.
Whether you’re stopping in for a quick beer, settling in for a burger, or meeting friends for an afternoon session, there’s no reason your best mate should miss out.
Our outdoor seating area is dog-friendly, water is always available, and pats are generally handed out free of charge. Some dogs even manage to score more attention than their owners, which, if we’re being honest, is usually fair.
And unlike most dog-friendly venues, we didn’t stop at the water bowl.
We’ve got a menu for dogs too.
Your furry mate can tuck into Dog Nation Chicken Bone Broth, Dog Nation Beef Bone Broth, or pair either one with a Paw Patty in plain beef or chicken. It’s essentially the canine equivalent of ordering a burger and a beer, except they’re usually less picky about it.
To be fair, some of our dog customers have become so familiar with the menu that they drag their owners through the front door before they’ve even had a chance to argue about where to eat.
Smart dogs.
So if you’re looking for a dog-friendly bar in Crows Nest where both humans and hounds are welcome, pull up a chair.
We’ll have the water bowl ready.
And if your dog ends up enjoying the visit more than you do, don’t take it personally.
They’re not here for the conversation.
Check out our dog gallery and get your dog up here for a beer and a paw pattie.
