Answers served fresh. Unlike some of our regulars.
A handy collection of things people ask before, during, and sometimes after a visit to Plan B.
Bookings & Experience
Do I need a booking?
Not always. Walk-ins are welcome. But if you’re planning to visit during peak times, a booking is a good idea. Nobody likes standing outside watching other people eat burgers.
How do I make a booking?
You can use the booking form, but honestly, calling us is usually faster. We’re often busy flipping burgers and pouring beers, which means phones occasionally win over keyboards.
Can I book for a group?
Absolutely. Birthdays, work drinks, reunions, interventions… whatever brings you together, we’ve probably seen worse.
Does Plan B host private events?
Yes. If you’ve got a group of people who enjoy burgers, beers and a good time, we’re already halfway there.
What is The Sauce?
The Sauce is our little corner of the internet where we share Burger of the Month releases, giveaways, specials, events and other highly important developments in the field of burgers and beers.
Why should I join The Sauce?
Because that’s where the good stuff lands first. Burger drops. Giveaways. Specials. Occasional nonsense. It’s free, and unlike most bad decisions, this one actually pays off.
Do you show live sport?
Yep. Big games, major events and those matches everyone suddenly becomes an expert on five minutes before kick-off. Grab a beer, grab a burger and pretend you understand the rules.
Burgers
What are the best burgers in Crows Nest?
We’re obviously biased, but if you’re reading this, you’ve already found the correct answer. We make burgers that require two hands, several napkins, and a complete disregard for dignity. Diet starts tomorrow.
Do you serve smash burgers?
We do. Smashed, seared and stacked with enough flavour to make you briefly forget about your inbox, your responsibilities, and that thing you said at the Christmas party.
What’s the Burger of the Month?
A monthly exercise in poor decision-making and excessive cheese consumption. We create it, you eat it, and together we pretend calories are just a government conspiracy.
Where can I get a fried chicken burger in Crows Nest?
Right here. Crispy fried chicken, house-made sauces and enough crunch to make nearby tables jealous.
Do you have vegetarian options?
Yep. Not everyone wants meat with their meat, and we respect that. We have vegetarian options that are actually worth eating, rather than feeling like a punishment.
Do you have gluten-free options?
We do our best to cater for different dietary requirements. Just let our team know before ordering and we’ll help you navigate the menu without accidentally ruining your day.
What food is Plan B famous for?
Burgers, wings, loaded fries, hotdogs and generally making sensible eating habits feel completely unnecessary.
Drinks & Venue
Where can I get late-night food in Crows Nest?
When most sensible people are heading home, we’re still here helping people make questionable but delicious life choices.
Do you serve craft beer?
Of course. Burgers without beer is just lunch. We stock a rotating range of craft beers, local favourites and things that pair exceptionally well with bad decisions.
What drinks do you serve?
Beer, cocktails, spirits, wine and enough options to ensure your “quick drink” turns into a much longer story.
Is Plan B dog friendly?
Absolutely. Dogs are welcome in our outdoor area. In fact, some of our favourite customers arrive on four legs.
Can I bring my dog?
Yes. Just make sure they’re better behaved than you are.
Can I bring my lizard or fish?
Dogs are definitely welcome. Lizards and fish fall into a legal grey area we haven’t fully explored yet.
If your pet is well-behaved, friendly, and unlikely to start a fight with another customer, we’re open to the conversation.
We’ve never turned away a goldfish. Mostly because nobody has tried. Yet.
Location / Crows Nest
Where is Plan B?
Right in the heart of Crows Nest. Easy to find. Hard to leave. Especially after you’ve ordered “just one more thing” three times.
Is Plan B close to the Crows Nest Metro?
Yep. Close enough that you’ll spend more time choosing your burger than walking here.
Why is it called Plan B?
Because Plan A doesn’t always work out. Sometimes Plan A cancels. Sometimes Plan A ghosts you. Sometimes Plan A suggests a salad. That’s where we come in.
What makes Plan B different?
Most places sell burgers. We sell burgers, beers and temporary relief from adulthood. It’s a subtle but important distinction.
