Crows Nest has lost a familiar face, and we’re sad to see it go.
The closing of The Stoned Crow up the road is a loss for the whole neighbourhood. Local bars help give a place its personality, and saying goodbye to one means much more than finding somewhere else to order a drink.
It’s the familiar faces. The usual table. The catch-ups that become a weekly tradition. The quick drink that somehow turns into dinner and a lengthy discussion about absolutely nothing.
To the team at The Stoned Crow, cheers for everything you’ve brought to Crows Nest.
Know Someone Who Called The Crow Their Local?
We’d love your help making them feel welcome at Plan B.
Give them a call, send them this post or round them up for a visit. Let them know there’s a friendly spot just down the road where they can keep the catch-ups going. Even better, come along and introduce them yourself.
We’ll give you something to tempt them with.
A Little Welcome, Plan B Style
Every Thursday and Saturday throughout October, from 3–6pm, we’re serving up $13 Margaritas, with the option to add a cheeseburger for just $10 when you buy a Margarita.
That’s a Margarita and a cheeseburger for $23. A fairly convincing answer to “where shall we meet?”
Bring your Crow-loving mates, bring their stories and bring the dog. If they need to spend a little time telling us how things were done at The Crow, we can take it. Probably.
A favourite local earns its place over time, and we’d love the chance to get to know a few more neighbours. A friendly introduction from our regulars is a pretty good place to start.
Here’s to The Stoned Crow, its crew and everyone who called it their local. Help us spread the word: they’ll always be welcome at Plan B.
